Students will create complex robotic systems such as automated green houses, bedroom alarm systems and automated fish tanks. They will continue to develop on CAD skills and develop computer and data science skills to solve complex problems and forcast future events.

Students will undertake complex coding tasks based upon object orientated programming in Unity game making software). Students will build upon previous knowledge of the design process. All skills will be demonstrated through semester based projects for example:
• Develop and implement a fully automated weather station for Brauer College, which is accessible via the internet.
• Build a green house that keeps plants fed and watered, monitors humidity and provides artificial lighting for optimum growth.
• Make a room alarm that can be triggered by infrared detection, sound or the door opening.
• Develop a Bluetooth Stereo with light show

The unit cost indicated is the 2024 fee. Please note that all unit fees are currently being reviewed and 2025 costs will be provided once approved by School Council.
