Not sure which humanities to choose? This subject gives you a taste of all four of the humanities subjects taught at Brauer. History will investigate life in the middle ages in Japan, under the rule of the shoguns and the Samurai warrior class. Geography will examine landforms and landscapes with a focus on coastlines. We will also look at the impact of one geomorphic hazard, either floods or fire, with a focus on Australia. In the economics and business section (a lead in to Business management and Accounting in higher levels) you will learn about the history of money and investigate consumer rights and responsibilities. For civics and citizenship (a lead in to legal studies at higher levels) you will learn about the democracy we live in, and your rights and responsibilities as a citizen of this nation. This subject has a bit of everything!
