3D Yr 9 - Ceramics and Sculpture (preferred)

Year 10 Ceramics and Sculpture focuses on making 3 dimensional artworks. You will be working with clay, learning how to use the pottery wheel, assemblage art & mixed media sculpture. You will explore each artform in depth and conduct personal inquiries into each artform.

This subject builds on the skills learnt in Year 9 Ceramics & Sculpture. You will learn how to combine ceramic hand building techniques to create a range of ceramic forms. You will learn about different clay types and understand which clay to use to achieve specific aesthetic results. You will explore other sculptural mediums such as assemblage & casting to create sculptural forms.
