Year 9 students continue the core program and choose elective units across the Arts, Technologies, Languages and Health & PE. Use the passport documents below as a worksheet to record your subject preferences before submitting them through EdVal.

What if I am going into Year 9 next year?
In Term 3 this year, you will choose 12 units of your PLP (plus 4 second round units).
- You will be placed in 2 Maths, 2 English, 1 Science and 1 Humanities unit for the year.
- You will be placed in the compulsory Personal Development and Pathways unit and the Physical Education unit.
- SIP and Advance units must be applied for through the PE Faculty separately
- You must choose 1 unit from each of: Technology; and Arts.
- You may choose a LOTE unit. This is optional.
- You can then choose any other units to a maximum of 3 from any one KLA.
- You will also need to choose 4 round 2 units - 1 unit from each of: Technology; and Arts plus units from Humanities and Science if preferred - in case you can’t get your round 1 units
What if I am going into the Year 9 SEAL Program next year?
In Term 3 this year, you will choose 12 units of your PLP (plus 2 second round units).
- You will be placed in 2 Maths, 2 English, 1 Science and 1 Humanities unit for the year.
- You will be placed in the compulsory Personal Development and Pathways unit and the Physical Education unit.
- SIP and Advance units must be applied for through the PE Faculty separately
