Full Description

Students will learn the skills and strategies used in Volleyball, Canoeing, Badminton, Weight training, Basketball, Netball, Handball, Lacrosse, Footy codes, Hockey, Cricket, Softball and fitness testing. They will monitor and assess their fitness through fitness testing. Students will encourage and support others, learn how to be a team player and play fairly. Students will be able to explain the main rules within each sport and understand the role of each position within the game. The importance of participation and safety and how it contributes to physical fitness and performance will be learnt. Students will be able to reflect on their own skills and learning in order to make improvements to the way in which they contribute and approach the games.
