Yr 9 Art: Photo-Print-Paint

A 2D visual art subject that focuses on helping you develop your printmaking, photography and painting skills. You will explore each art form in depth and conduct personal inquiries into each art form.

This subject is designed to introduce you to new skills and techniques and expand on what you have done in Year 7 and 8 to become specialists! You will focus on painting, photography and printmaking throughout the semester. It will be inquiry based for you to develop your investigative skills and dig deep into how each art form works. Each skill is underpinned by drawing and developing ideas.

Photography:

•Beginner photoshop skills

•How to use DSLR cameras

•How to use the lighting studio

•Photograms (in the dark room)

Printmaking:

•Etching

•Laser cut stencils and spray paint

Painting:

•Acrylic painting

•Watercolour painting
