Requirements and Recommendations
- Students must choose at least 2 Technology units in their Personal Learning Program: at least one at Year 8 and one at Year 9.

- Students need to have completed one unit in the chosen materials area prior to entering VCE-VM or VCE study in that material, i.e., if you intend to study Textiles Units 1 & 2 in Year 11, you should complete a year 9 or 10 unit in Textiles.
- Students need to have completed one Level C unit in Year 9 to undertake a Certificate II unit in Year 10.
Students wanting to study trade subjects in Year 11 and 12 are advised to complete at least one unit of Visual Communication.
