The aim is for students to refine their;

(You do not have to have prior experience playing a musical instrument to enrol in this class. All students will be given the opportunity to develop basic performance skills on either the keyboard, guitar, bass, drums or as a vocalist during class time. Students who already play an instrument will be given the opportunity to continue developing their skills as a musician on their chosen instrument.)

Use of effective rehearsal techniques to practice and critically reflect on their progress.

Capacity to solve problems when composing their own song using live instruments and/or electronic music.

Note: Please note: If year 10 Music does not run, students may be offered a place in either VET Music or VCE Music if they meet the relevant early selection criteria.
