What was life like in the middle ages?

Full Description

Join us as we explore the chaos and danger of life in the middle ages. Investigate the Vikings and their rampage across Europe. Learn about William the Conqueror, the famous Battle of Hastings, and its links to our own society. Sympathise with the medievals as they battle the deadly Black Death outbreaks and explore the impact of one of the earliest known deadly outbreaks of disease in history. Whilst we investigate the spread of the plague from Asia to Europe we will also investigate the Middle Ages in general a time when doctors thought they could cure deadly diseases by sticking a plucked chicken under your armpit or making you drink your own urine. Research some of the worst and most dangerous jobs ever - including the Barber Surgeon who needed a talent for cutting off both hair and limbs. All this and more is yours to discover in Medieval Mayhem

Note: Excursions are planned cost will range form $10 to $50
