Yr 8 Visual Communication Design

Everything you see has design. Whether you are interested in designing cars, architecture, clothing or even computer games and avatars this subject will assist you to take a step towards your design career!

With a focus on design elements and principles to develop your ideas, students will trial different media and techniques. You will also be introduced to appropriate technical drawing conventions both freehand and digital.

Students will cover many aspects of design, including Technical drawing � two-point perspective and orthographic projection. Communication design focusing on creating a digital avatar. Industrial design � designing and creating a pair of amazing runners and Environmental design � Designing your ideal cubby house and making a prototype.
